We&#039;re in peach territory, too:  our town&#039;s major festival is around the lowly Red Haven peach (we&#039;re in Michigan).  There&#039;s something about them that&#039;s both sacred and profane, you know? Dry years actually can be good:  concentrates those sugars, not at all a bad thing.
